To Exari Hotel - Omalos

The venue was perfect, with a great location next to mountains and the Samaria park, offering stunning mountain views. the staff was friendly and provided a very good experience. the rooms were neat, with central heating, a multi-channel television, and a private bathroom featuring a relaxing bath.

Had a very good stay during our trip. The staff were very amiable and incredibly kind throughout our stay. The rooms were fine and spacious with place to sit, a big bed, for instance, just what was needed. The food provided was outstanding!

the location is amazing, especially for visiting Samaria Park. the rooms are tidy with spacious beds. the staff is incredibly helpful. Centrally heating and multi-channel television were great additions to the room.

Great location for hiking, including the famous Samaria Gorge. Delicious homemade food, both for dinner and breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff, who even interacted with me in Greek. Free shuttle bus service to the entrance of the gorge at 7am and 8am. Comfortable beds and a rustic mountain hotel ambiance. Mini bus service and direct public bus available. Huge parking lot for convenience. Beautiful and peaceful plateau setting in the mountains.

I had a wonderful stay at To Exari. The location is perfect for accessing the Gorges of Samaria, and the host was kind and cute. The room, although simple, had a small balcony which was a nice touch. I enjoyed homemade cakes and fresh orange juice for breakfast. I highly recommend this place!

staying at to exari in omalos was even better than before. the staff was amazing, the food delicious, and the rooms neat and cozy. the location is perfect for exploring the samaria gorges with the free shuttle. it was an authentic and unique experience.

Bed was a little hard.

The location of this hotel is absolutely stunning. Surrounded by pure nature and sheep pastures, it is the perfect place to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of the city. the hotel is conveniently located near the starting point of the Samaria Gorge and the cave Tzanis, making it an ideal base for hiking enthusiasts. the hotel offers free bus rides to the entrance of the gorge, making it even more convenient.

Although my overall experience at this hotel was positive, there were a couple of drawbacks. the breakfast could have been better.

stayed at exaris for a few nights in omalos and couldn't be happier. delicious homemade food, clean comfy rooms, and genuine hospitality make this place a gem. the location is perfect, close to the samaria gorge and hiking routes. it's a complete crete experience, highly recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at this peaceful and natural retreat. the family running the place was incredibly kind and friendly. As the only guest, I enjoyed the tranquility of the surroundings. the traditional stone house was charming, and my room on the ground floor had a private door opening to a lovely common yard. the view of the village fields and mountains was breathtaking. the room had an electric heater, ensuring a comfortable stay. the dinner served was delicious, and they even treated me to some extra Raki. They offered a free transfer to the Samaria Gorge, which was very convenient. it was an authentic and unique experience. Cons: Liked everything 😊.
